Dear Mum

WALT: Use critical thinking skills to: identify, analyse and evaluate articles and stories that involve facing challenges'
After reading this story, I have created the following P.M.I graphic organizer where I have identified key ideas through analysing and evaluating the text in
relation to Facing Challenges.

A girl who wrote a letter to her mum when she was at camp.

Interesting
  • When facing challenges you need to always be prepared.
  • To keep yourself safe in new challenges you must always follow instructions
  • Facing challenges helps you to grow in confidence.
  • Some challenges can be dangerous if you don’t follow instructions
  • Not having enough food on outdoor challenges is not sensible
  • People need to make sure that they have the right equipment.
  • Facing challenges can involve a lot of activities and this can build confidence too.
