Last day of technicraft
- Last day
- Spray paint
- Tiles
- Hot glue gun
- Paper towels
- Technicraft
Today was the last day of technicraft it was very awesome because we finished off our tiles. I had to put blue acrylic paint on it then we had to wait for two minutes.
After that we had a paper towel and we had put it on the top of the tiles the we had press it very hard so some of the blue paint comes off.
Once I took off the paper towel I looked at my tile and it looked very cool after that Mr B sticked it on wooden board using a hot glue gun. Meanwhile Mr B came with a spray paint and sprayed it on the tiles so it could stand out. The people that did tiles out of the class was: Soane, Mana, Justice, Jayden, Rhonda and faith. Today was fun and I enjoyed finishing my tiles.

My speech about racism!!!
Do you ever wonder what a world full of racism would be like? I do. I think of how people would judge others for being different, meaning different colour of skin, colour of hair, nationality and religion beliefs. just picture this, everything you do and everywhere you go you're being watched and judged, always on someone's watch and would never be able to feel safe or comfortable.
Racism means someone being treated differently and not being treated equally. Everywhere you go you're being watched thinking you are upto something suspicious or you're hiding something or even thinking you're going to steal or kill someone.
Racism is all around the world, not just in NZ or America, it's all over the place, whereever you go there's always racism.
Racism is strong, they have turned racism into clans killing other people for being different or believing in different things, for example kkk, isis `and black panthers, these clans all have something in common, racism. these clans will go out and kill people or torture them just for being a different coloured skin or believing in something else. Racism is taught to people while they're growing. But the most common racism that still occurs around at this time is being "judged" for who we are and thinking we're going to do something bad.
I'm a polynesian boy but you'll consider me a fob from the islands. I really hate racism, I really do because i don't want to go places and be judged for who I am, No one wants to walk into a shop and having the owner follow you around and pretend they're looking for something, I don't want to go to a restaurant and eat while other people look at you full of hate and have judgemental thoughts, I don't want people to think i'm good at stuff because of the colour of my skin or my nationality, I don't want to go places and have people call me disgusting names, I don't want cops following me and watching me all the time, I don't want people thinking i'm going to rob them or even kill them, i don't want people thinking i'd judge them for who they are, because I know for sure everyone wants to be treated equally and not differently.

The Assumption of Mary!!
Father in heaven,
all creation rightly gives you praise,
for all life and all holiness come from you.
In the plan of your wisdom
she who bore the Christ in her womb
was raised body and soul in glory to be with him in heaven. May we follow her example in reflecting your holiness
and join in her hymn of endless love and praise.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Assumption of Mary One glance at a daily newspaper or a television news show will tell you that some people do not value human life. But this is not news. During the Holocaust of World War II, millions of people were tortured and killed. This terrible tragedy led many people to wonder about human life. How valuable is a single human life? How valuable are the lives of the elderly, the unborn, the terminally ill? Are their lives worth as much as those of people who are healthy and active, working, and raising families? God creates human life and gives it value. And Jesus gave his life on the cross to redeem each individual human person. By doing this, Jesus said, “Your life is worth my dying to save you.” Through his own Resurrection, Jesus showed us the glory of our resurrection and of our living in the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised that the body and soul of a person, separated at death, will be joined together again in glory at the Last Judgment. The person will be whole for all eternity. The feast of Mary’s Assumption is a preview of what our lives will be. At the end of her earthly life, Mary was assumed, or taken up, into heaven body and soul. She did not have to wait for the end of the world, as we do. God granted her this special privilege because of her sinlessness and her fullness of grace. The Church has always believed in Mary’s assumption into heaven. But on November 1, 1950, Pope Pius XII focused the attention of the whole world on the Assumption of Mary as a dogma and mystery of our faith. This mystery shows us that God wants every human person, body and soul, to be in glory forever, just as Mary is now. This dogma shows how important every single human life is. Pope Plus XII hoped that by thinking about Mary’s Assumption, people all over the world would develop a deeper respect for their own lives and their own bodies. He also hoped that people would grow in respect for the lives of others.

Dear Mum
WALT: Use critical thinking skills to: identify, analyse and evaluate articles and stories that involve facing challenges'

relation to Facing Challenges.

Some challenges can be dangerous if you don’t follow instructions
Not having enough food on outdoor challenges is not sensible
People need to make sure that they have the right equipment.

Facing challenges can involve a lot of activities and this can build confidence too.

Pets!!
A dog is a big or small animal that can be very aggressive
Dogs come in only four different coloured fur, Black, white, blond and brown. Some are extremely furry and some just have no fur, they are pretty much naked. The fur helps to keep dogs warm.
Some dogs are giants, enormous than other dogs. Some breeds like Chihuahuas stay small for some reason. The chihuahua is a very aggressive dog even tho it's tiny it is very scary. The tallest dog breed is called the Great Dane its minimum height is 32 inches tall, the smallest dog not breed is a female measured up to 9.65 cm.
The most aggressive and dangerous dog that has ever lived is an American Pit Bull some people just say it’s only because the owners bring them up very bad. The Pit bull is known for its killing that is happening around the world.
Dogs are cute but very vicious but keep in mind it’s not their fault, it might actually be their owners fault for not teaching them and training them to behave themselves.
We are learning to write an explanation using the correct structure.

I love since class
Today at teach the year 7 and i went to science class our was Miss Gawith. Today we were learning about blowing bubbles in one bubble.
After that she gave us a sheet to write down our hypothesis. Miss Gawith gave us some straws plastic bowls with some water in it. Miss Gawith mixed the soap with some sugar and soap together to make the bubble stronger. After that she poured the water into the plastic bowl.
Then we had to rub some onto the table and we grabbed our straws then we blew it onto the table to see if a bubble appeared. After that, we were told to blow the bubble onto the table again and blow another bubble inside the first bubble and we kept going.
After that we had to clean the table and put away our folders and the chairs back where they were.
