Would you help an abandoned puppy?

Luke is a 13 year old, tall boy. He goes to St.Peter's school and he lives in a big white house with his parents. He doesn't have that much friends because he is shy.

One day a boy called Luke was walking back home. Suddenly he saw a box on the side walk. He looked inside of the box and saw a German shepherd puppy. He picked up the dog and covered his body with his school jacket to keep him warm.

Luke took the dog up and ran quickly back home. Once he got back, Luke fed the puppy with some leftover pork from the night before.

After 3 weeks the puppy had grown and gotten fatter. Luke got tired of calling the dog 'dog' so Luke told him that he is going to name him Blue. The dog looked very happy when Luke named him.

After that, they became very close friends and played together every day. Luke taught Blue lots of tricks and because Blue was a clever dog and he learnt all the tricks.

Come on, let's go on the big pink slide!

On Saturday the 18th of June my family and I went to McDonald's for a feast after our singing at church.

While we were waiting, we played on the park but first we had to take off our shoes. After that my mum called us to go and have something to eat. I had a cheese burger a big mac a large chips and a fizzy drink.

When I was heading towards the playground, my cousin came up to me and asked "Do you want a ice cream" I replied "Yes!" and then "Thank you."
After I went to the playground and played on the big pink slide. It was very cool because it was very dark inside the slide.

Finally my mum called for us to go home because it was far for us to travel back.

The ice-cream that I ate was vanilla flavoured. It was white and it was on a cone. The ice-cream was very delicious and cold and the cone was crunchy and crispy.

The playground was very cool because it had slides/ tunnels and big steps. I went on the big pink slide and it was very dark on the inside. The slide was very big and slippery.

My favourite part was when I on the slide because it was very slippery so we slid down it very fast.

I miss my uncle!

On Sunday the 12th of June, my aunts, uncle and I went to Auckland south corrections facility prison to see my uncle. It was a very long drive because we drove from East Auckland and South Auckland. It took us three hours to get there.

Image result for auckland south corrections facilityWhen we got there, I saw two security guards guarding the door and another two security guards standing on the road leading us to the car parking. All the security guards were armed and wearing protection. They told us to stop because they needed to check the inside of the car, because they thought we might have been hiding a weapon. They checked everywhere but they didn't find anything because we had nothing to hide.

Soon we were in the clear. We quickly moved and parked the car. Soon we went inside the building and we waited until four o'clock because that was our meeting time.

Soon after four o'clock, a woman came and announced on the microphone and said, "The four o'clock people, can you please follow this woman to the scanner." So we followed the woman to the scanner and the security guards scanned us and checked to see if we had weapons.

Once the scan had finished, we all walked to another building and sat down at a table. Once we sat down, I saw my uncle walk towards us from another room. I ran to him and hugged him as soon as I saw him.

Then we sat down talked with my uncle. My uncle asked us if we could go to the kids room so that he could have a private conversation with my aunty. When we joined them again, it was time for us to go back so we all gave him a big hug.

I'm really happy that I had the opportunity to visit my uncle because I really miss him. My favourite part of the visit was hugging my uncle.
